Biography
Girma Hailemichael Gebre (PhD) was born on October 25, 1973, in North Shewa, Ethiopia. He successfully did his study and graduated, elementary, high school, BSc,, MSc., and PhD in Horticulture. Since joined the EIAR/JARC, he served as researcher and various responsibilities; national research program coordination, center directors and different core committee members. Took roles in projects write ups, conducted and reported various scientific reports, published journals and different guidelines. As a researcher and national coordinator of Spices and Herbs research, released various spices varieties, multiply and distributed to users, gave practical training to farmers, experts, private experts, TVETS and Universities (part time course on Spices, research advisory services, external examination), etc. He kept contributing significantly to spice research, crop development, and national agricultural programs of the country.
